So I am typing this with one hand because my left currently needs to stay up.  I was trimming the tulle skirt that is par of my costume (a ladybug) when i missed and got my palm pretty good.  Whoops.  Apparently Halloween can be dangerous even before booze is involved.

So now, I still have a good amount of my costume to finish before tomorrow night, i am incapacitated, and i look silly with an ace bandage around my hand for nothing more than a cut.

What are YOU doing for Halloween? Costume?  Alcoholic beverage of choice (lol i'm terrible)?

This is a short post because it's hard to type like this.  Night!!

Nothing at all?? passing out candy and watching scary movies then? That's always fun, seeing all the kids in their funny costumes.

Nope nothing at all.
Where i live in the Netherlands we don't really celebrate it. In some neighbourhoods they do along but in my neighbourhood not really.
Although if i would live in a neighbourhood where they would celebrate it i'll definitely would hand out candy.
I understand that it is always fun to see the kids in their funny custumes.
I can watch scary movies though. Although i don't have many.

aww wow your mom did it that's even more scary and evil. It will be the least one i would suspect doing such a thing.
Although I'm sure she meant it in a joking matter.

OUCH! I hope your hand gets better in time.

My birthday falls on the 28th so I will be going home from college (for the first time in two months!) after my math class today. I just couldn't have missed that too, couldn't I... Anyways, the fact that I'm not on campus for the next four evenings means I'm missing out on a lot of the activities going on for Halloween, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing. Apparently there are some affluent neighborhoods around, so my roommate and I might just pose as high schoolers and go trick-or-treating again. Because nothing says turning 18 like pretending to be 16. :giggle:

One thing I know I'll be doing is seeing how many halloween decorations I can put up in the tiny window of free time I have at home. Last year apparently our decorations were so scary that little kids would stand on the sidewalk outside with expressions of rapt terror and refuse to go in. Mission accomplished. :XD:

hahaha!!! Well, next year you should be sure to stay on campus for halloween. it gets intense lol. This is the first time i'm going to a real halloween party and i'm excited. Ahh, trick-or-treating. I'll be very happy to have a kid of my own and take them out on Halloween. Just make sure you don't hit any houses of people that you know. they might burst your bubble.

cool!!! that is AWESOME. i still live in the dorms, so all i can decorate is my bedroom. and my parents do virtually nothing. party-poopers.

oh, and my hand will heal soon. but they did make me get a tetnus shot. Ow. My mom freaked when i told her, but it doesnt even need one stitch. And my roommates helped me finish my costume!!

Yeah, luckily I go to college 4 states away so no one will ever know. >:)

Unfortunately after putting up all our halloween decorations yesterday it started raining through the entire night, so now everything is pretty ruined. Thanks, universe. >.<

I'm glad to hear your hand will get better soon :)
